1. Desktop app data
Folddr is built to manage local folders on your device. The current product brief states that Folddr does not upload file contents as part of its normal workflow.
When you use the app, it may store local metadata needed to manage link mappings, diagnostics, and storage locations.
- ~/.folddr/config.json for configuration and metadata
- ~/.folddr/storage as the managed storage root
2. Filesystem actions
Folddr can move folders, create symlinks, restore folders, and remove link mappings at your request. These operations happen on your machine.
3. Website data
This marketing site is static. It does not include sign-up forms, user accounts, or advertising trackers. Hosting providers may still collect standard logs for security and operations.
4. Payments and third-party processors
If Folddr begins selling direct licenses, payment details will be handled by the payment processor used at checkout, not by this static site itself.
5. Data retention and deletion
Because Folddr is local-first, most app data remains under your control on your device. Removing the app or deleting its local configuration generally removes that local data.
6. Policy updates
This policy may change as Folddr adds purchases, activation flows, analytics, or support channels. Material updates should be reflected with a new effective date.
